How to search for text within a web page

Internet Explorer
  1. Click the Edit menu (if you can't see it press the ALT key to display it).
  2. Click Find on this Page to display the text box on the tab row.
  3. Type the word or phrase you want to find in the text box. The number of matches will appear next to the Options button and the page will automatically scroll to the first occurence of the word or phrase.
  4. To go to the next or previous appearance of the word or phrase, click the Next or Previous button.

Firefox
  1. Open the Find bar by using the Ctrl+F keyboard shortcut, or click the Firefox button (Edit in Windows XP), then click Find.
  2. Type the word or phrase you want to find in the Find text box and Firefox will start highlighting instances of your search as you type.
  3. Click Next or Previous, or Highlight All to search.

Safari on a Mac
  1. Open the Find on this Page search box by using the Command+F keyboard shortcut.
  2. Type the word or phrase you want to find in the Find text box.
  3. Click Find and you'll be taken to the first instance of your search.
  4. Continue to click Find until there are no more instances to find.

Safari on an iPad
  1. Click in the search box to the top right and a Find on Page box will appear to the bottom right of the screen.
  2. Type the word or phrase you want to find in the Find on Page box and your iPad will show the number of instances and take you to the first one.
  3. Click the left or right button to view the next or previous instance.
