The annual flower show was held in the Warner Park at St. Ives to-day (Thursday) and was one of the best known for some years.  In the “open” tent the number of exhibits was in excess of last year.  There were four table decorations and three fine groups of plants, besides a large number of pot plants and cut flowers.  The quality in this section of the show was never  better.  In the amateurs' section the numbers were not quite so large, but the quality was of the best.  Some splendid stuff was also shown in the cottagers' classes.  There were fifty-three entries for the prizes given by the Mayor for school exhibits.  On the whole the exhibits were undoubtedly of better quality than last year and the total entries also showed an increase.  The St. Ives band was in attendance.
